Savoy Steam is a restorative, aromatic experience that captures the atmosphere of a traditional steam bath. It opens with a crisp, bracing kick of pink pepper and Tunisian rosemary, creating a medicinal freshness that mimics the sensation of inhaling hot, herbaceous vapors. This initial sharpness quickly softens into a heart of Damask rose and geranium absolute, which provides a green, dewy floral character rather than a powdery or sweet one. It feels like a cool rose petal pressed against warm, damp skin. The fragrance settles into a resinous base of benzoin and incense resin, which adds a subtle, smoky warmth without becoming heavy or cloying. The overall impression is one of cleanliness and rejuvenation, striking a balance between the botanical bitterness of the top notes and the smooth, comforting resins in the dry down. It is a light, airy scent that manages to feel both heritage-inspired and modern, making it an excellent choice for those who prefer "clean" scents that lean toward the botanical rather than the soapy.
