Apple Brandy on the Rocks combines crisp fruit with a brandy accord and a woody base. Kilian describes its cooling opening as a blend of bergamot, pineapple and cardamom. Beneath it, rum notes supply the liquor effect, joined by moss and vanilla, over cedarwood and Ambroxan. The edition name marks a specific change: Kilian says it retains the original apple-brandy core and adds the fresh On the Rocks accord at the opening. The chilled impression is part of the scent's construction. Perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur also created the earlier fragrance for the house's New York flagship.
